Sono-Electro is a groundbreaking, 10-day festival dedicated to spotlighting the best in local, national and international sonic artists, and inspiring the people of St Leonards and Hastings to explore and experience the joy and of sound art to grow a sense of belonging, providing the tools and mindset to navigate uncertain futures we face collaboratively.

From playful baby toy hacking, to the reimagining of a domestic and intimate parenting experience, and through into Peruvian jungle soundscapes, join us on a blending of creativity, emotion, and exploration of belonging in unexpected ways.

Sono-Satellite Showcase
A day-long showcasing of the festival’s young artist programme. A community-driven arts education incentive by Pablo McFee to ready early artists to present at the Sono-Electro festival, and sound artist veteran, Ted Barrow.

Closing Ceremony
The grand finale of the festival. From navigating inclusion to an all out All-Star Big Band by the coast to close the festival until next year.
